The Way We Do Things

You’re a special couple and you’re getting married – this day, of all days, merits special treatment. Anirban understands the importance of your wedding day, and this is reflected in the meticulous personal care and attention you’ll receive when you book him as your wedding photographer. 

So how does it all work? It’s simple, really. The first step is to confirm the booking, at which point you’ll be able to tell Anirban a little more about your plans for the day – how you envisage it all unfolding, how it’ll look, who’ll be there, the timings you have in mind. The next meeting will be at the wedding venue, accompanied by a friendly coffee. Anirban will want to learn why you’ve booked the venue and what’s important to you about it. He’ll want to see the wedding through your eyes – it’s only by doing this that he can take the wedding pictures you deserve and want.

Even if Anirban has already been to the venue many times before, you will have seen the venue differently and by understanding this, he can begin planning the images which will mean so much to you.
The pre-wedding or couple shoot takes place at least a day before the wedding day itself and lasts half a day or so. On location at or near your home, and sometimes at a venue that is important to you, Anirban will guide you both in being at ease in front of the camera. Working to the light the camera will become a second nature and by the end of the session you’ll be relaxed and undaunted by the prospect of being photographic supermodels on the day.
You’ll also get a taste of what’s to come when you see the hauntingly beautiful results of this session. The results of the pre-wedding shoot will be presented to you a couple of weeks later so that you can upload and show it to your friends as a sneak peak.

Many couples order a pre-wedding album of the shoot, and use images from this session for their wedding stationery, a signature mount or a bespoke table plan – all of which Anirban can provide!
And, of course, the day itself.
You’ll be at ease with Anirban’s style, and he’ll know who and what is important to you. He’ll shoot throughout the day according to which particular package you’ve chosen, including a few formal group shots you have discussed, and some big picture bride and groom setups.
Apart from that, most couples forget he’s even there… Shame :D

Your wedding day is a performance, and being comfortable in front of the camera is an absolute, cast-iron must.
